VENDOME Saint-Emilion
ORIGIN:
Appellation: Saint-Emilion AOC(Right Bank of Bordeaux area)
Soil: clayey soils, sand and gravel.
Grape Varieties: 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon.
WINE-MAKING:
Automated receiving system for the grapes. Traditional vinification, temperature controlled fermentation and long maceration. The wines are aged by traditional methods, racked at regular intervals and fined before bottling in rigorously aseptic conditions
TASTING NOTES:
Nice and bright ruby red colour. Fine and discreet nose with aromas of red fruits. In the mouth, the frank attack of aromas is pleasant, followed by an intense aromatic and fruity evolution. The end is supple and full of persisting flavour of berries.
SERVING:
To be served between 16°C and 18°C, with poultry and cheese.
